Start boiling several inches of water for a double boiler.

Place a parchment-lined baking sheet in the freezer for 15 minutes.

Combine oats, dates, ground cashews, soymilk powder, and cocoa powder in a bowl; set aside.

Melt chocolate chips in a mixing bowl set over the boiling water.

Remove chocolate from heat and stir in maple syrup.
