Mutter Paneer (Peas and Cottage Cheese Curry) Recipe

Instructions

  1. Grind onions into a fine paste and set aside.

  2. Grind tomatoes into a fine paste and set aside.

  3. Heat 2-3 tablespoons oil in a deep pan; stir-fry paneer cubes until golden, then remove to a paper towel and set aside.

  4. In the same pan, heat remaining 2-3 tablespoons oil, then fry onion paste, stirring frequently, until light brown.

  5. Add tomato, ginger, and garlic pastes; sauté for 2 minutes.

  6. Stir in coriander, cumin, turmeric, garam masala, and green chiles; sauté until oil separates from the spice mixture.

  7. Add peas and fry for 2-3 minutes.

  8. Incorporate fried paneer, hot water, and salt; simmer until the gravy thickens.

  9. Turn off heat and stir in cream once desired thickness is reached.

  10. Garnish with coriander leaves; serve.
