Instructions

  1. Pre-soak bambara nuts and peanuts separately in cold water for a minimum of 12 hours or overnight.

  2. Drain the bambara nuts, then add fresh water and 1 teaspoon salt. Bring to a boil and simmer for 50 minutes.

  3. Drain the bambara nuts, then combine with the pre-soaked peanuts, remaining salt, and additional water; boil for 1 hour and 10 minutes.

  4. Taste for seasoning and confirm the peanuts and beans are thoroughly cooked.
