Instructions

  1. Rinse and dry the mushrooms, then separate the caps from the stems and chop the stems.

  2. Heat butter and oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

  3. Sauté the mushroom caps for 5 to 8 minutes until browned, then transfer them to a plate.

  4. Add the chopped mushroom stems, garlic, and parsley to the hot pan and sauté for 5 minutes.

  5. Return the browned mushroom caps to the pan, cover, and cook over low heat for 10 to 15 minutes until tender.

  6. Serve the mushrooms hot.
