Instructions

  1. Combine 1/4 cup mung bean starch powder with 1 3/4 cups water in a soup pot.

  2. Heat over high heat to boiling, stirring frequently with a whisk.

  3. Once boiling, reduce heat to medium-high and cook for 15 minutes until thickened and bubbly.

  4. Pour the thickened mixture into a baking pan or casserole dish.

  5. Cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for 2 to 3 hours to set.

  6. Once set, remove from refrigerator and cut the muk into desired shapes.

  7. Combine all sauce ingredients in a bowl, then pour generously over the sliced muk.
