Mung Bean Jelly Recipe - Korean Savory Jello
Muk is a savory, jello-like dish made from mung bean starch, often served with a flavorful soy-based sauce for a unique texture.

Instructions

Combine 1/4 cup mung bean starch powder with 1 3/4 cups water in a soup pot.

Heat over high heat to boiling, stirring frequently with a whisk.

Once boiling, reduce heat to medium-high and cook for 15 minutes until thickened and bubbly.

Pour the thickened mixture into a baking pan or casserole dish.

Cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for 2 to 3 hours to set.

Once set, remove from refrigerator and cut the muk into desired shapes.

Combine all sauce ingredients in a bowl, then pour generously over the sliced muk.
