Minted Lamb Meatballs

Instructions

  1. Preheat a large frying pan over medium-high heat.

  2. In a large bowl, combine ground lamb, grated onion, minced garlic, and minced mint.

  3. Add paprika, cumin, salt, and cayenne (if desired); mix thoroughly with your hands.

  4. Form the mixture into 2-tablespoon meatballs, gently rolling them into balls. Dampen hands to prevent sticking if necessary.

  5. Add 1-2 tablespoons of oil to the hot pan. Cook meatballs in a single layer for about 8 minutes, turning to brown all sides until cooked through. Work in batches and keep cooked meatballs warm in a 2000F oven if needed.
