Mint Sorbet Recipe

Instructions

  1. Combine mint, water, and sugar in a saucepan over medium heat; simmer, covered, for 3 minutes until sugar dissolves, stirring occasionally.

  2. Remove from heat and cool to room temperature.

  3. Strain the mixture into a bowl, discarding the mint leaves.

  4. Stir in the wine and lemon juice, adjusting lemon to taste; cover and refrigerate for 2 hours.

  5. Churn the chilled mixture in an ice cream maker.

  6. Transfer to a covered container and freeze until firm, at least 2 hours before serving.
