Mini Ground Beef Party Tacos

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 F (204 C).

  2. Cut 3-4 inch rounds from large tortillas.

  3. Brown ground beef in a saucepan, breaking it into crumbles; drain excess fat.

  4. Add tomatoes, ground chile, oregano, garlic and onion powders, cumin, and salt to the beef. Bring to a boil, then simmer until liquid evaporates.

  5. Arrange tortilla rounds on cookie sheets and brush both sides with vegetable oil.

  6. Fill each tortilla round with a tablespoon of beef mixture and a pinch of cheese. Fold into half-moon packets, pressing edges to seal.

  7. Bake for 10 minutes, or until tortillas are browned. Serve immediately with desired dips.
