Instructions

  1. Combine sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl.

  2. Toast day-old brioche bread until firm enough to hold up to milk.

  3. Generously butter each toasted slice.

  4. Cut the buttered toast into bite-sized cubes.

  5. Warm milk in a saucepan until just simmering.

  6. Place toasted bread cubes in a bowl, pour warm milk over them, and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar before serving.
