While jars sterilize, whisk all mustard ingredients in a small saucepan until smooth.

Bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat, then boil for 7 to 8 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Remove from heat and cool for 5 minutes; the mustard will continue to thicken significantly as it fully cools.
