Mexican Pizza

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F and arrange oven racks.

  2. In a large skillet, cook pork, onion, and garlic in olive oil until browned; drain if needed. For chorizo, cook onions until tender, then add chorizo until browned and fat is rendered.

  3. Add taco sauce, tomato sauce, chili powder, cayenne pepper, and pepper to the mixture; stir well and simmer for 5 minutes.

  4. Stir in drained green chiles.

  5. Spray two cookie sheets and spread pizza crust dough onto them.

  6. Bake crusts for 5 to 8 minutes until just set.

  7. Spread the sauce evenly over both crusts and top with shredded cheese.

  8. Bake at 400°F for 20 to 25 minutes, or until cheese is melted and browned, rotating cookie sheets halfway through.

  9. Slice and serve the pizzas.
