Memphis Barbecue Sauce
A fantastic, easy-to-make barbecue sauce that complements traditional Memphis-style barbecue.

Instructions

Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat.

Sauté onion in the butter for 2-3 minutes, then add garlic and cook for 15-20 seconds until fragrant.

Stir in all remaining ingredients, adding the vinegar last.

Reduce heat to low and simmer, stirring occasionally, for 12-15 minutes.

Remove from heat and cool for 20 minutes.

Serve immediately or store in a sealed container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
