Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325 F.

  2. Melt butter in a sauté pan over medium heat, then sauté onions for 5 minutes until translucent.

  3. Remove from heat, stir in garlic, and let cool.

  4. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, the cooled onion-garlic mixture, and all other meatloaf ingredients; mix well.

  5. Lightly grease a shallow roasting pan. Form the meatloaf mixture into a 6x3-4 inch loaf shape on the pan.

  6. Bake for 30 minutes.

  7. While the meatloaf bakes, combine brown sugar, vinegar, and Dijon mustard for the glaze.

  8. Remove the meatloaf, spread the glaze evenly over the top.

  9. Bake for 30 more minutes until an internal temperature of 160 F is reached.
