Mashed White Sweet Potatoes

Instructions

  1. Start boiling water in a large pot.

  2. Peel and cut the boniato into large pieces.

  3. Add the cut boniato to the pot, ensuring they are covered with water, and continue to bring to a boil over high heat.

  4. Salt the water and cook for about 20 minutes until a knife easily inserts.

  5. Drain the boniato thoroughly.

  6. Return drained boniato to the hot pot. Add butter, pepper, and milk; mash until smooth.

  7. Season with chile pepper and salt to taste; mix well.

  8. Fold in the green onions.

  9. Serve immediately.
