Mashed Potatoes With Sour Cream Recipe

Start boiling potatoes, chicken stock, and salt in a large pot, covered by at least 1/2 inch of water, until fork-tender (12-15 minutes).

Simultaneously, gently warm cream and butter in a small saucepan until melted; do not simmer.

Drain the cooked potatoes and return them to the pot.

Gradually mash the potatoes while incorporating the warm cream-butter mixture.
