Marinated Ham & Swiss Buns Appetizer Recipe
Piquant ham and cheese sliders are prepared, marinated overnight, and then baked until caramelized and golden.

Instructions

In a pan, sauté minced onion in butter until translucent, then add brown sugar, mustard, poppy seeds, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic powder.

Stir and simmer for 3 minutes until the brown sugar dissolves, then remove from heat and cool.

Slice the entire sheet of buns horizontally, keeping the tops and bottoms connected.

Spread horseradish mayonnaise on the cut sides of both bun halves.

Layer ham and Swiss cheese evenly over the bun bottoms, then replace the bun tops.

Lightly slice between each bun to separate them slightly, then arrange in a baking pan.

Spoon the cooled marinade over the buns, ensuring even coverage, then cover tightly with foil.

Refrigerate the covered buns overnight.

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

Sprinkle parsley over the buns, then bake covered for 25 minutes.
