Maple and Brown Sugar Glazed Sweet Potatoes

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 F.

  2. Scrub sweet potatoes, place them in a large saucepan, cover with water, bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 5-7 minutes until tender.

  3. Drain thoroughly, then peel and cut the cooled potatoes into chunks or thick slices.

  4. Arrange the cut sweet potatoes in a buttered 2-quart baking dish.

  5. Combine remaining ingredients in a saucepan, bring to a boil, then pour this mixture over the potatoes.
