Malai Prawn (Creamy Prawn Curry)

Instructions

  1. Wash, shell, and devein the prawns, keeping heads intact.

  2. Process onions, tomatoes, and green chiles into a paste.

  3. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the vegetable paste and fry for one minute.

  4. Stir in garlic and ginger paste; fry for another minute.

  5. Add garam masala, coriander, and cumin; cook until oil separates from the mixture.

  6. Pour in coconut milk and bring to a boil, then season with salt.

  7. Add prawns and cook for 2 minutes.

  8. Turn off heat and stir in cream.

  9. Garnish with coriander leaves; serve with jeera or steamed rice.
