Mahi-Mahi Fillet With Lemon-Dill Sauce

A fast recipe for seared and broiled mahi-mahi fillets served in a light pan sauce.

Instructions

  1. Preheat the broiler on high.

  2. Rub mahi-mahi fillets with olive oil and season both sides.

  3. Heat an oven-proof skillet over medium-high heat; add 1 tablespoon olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter, swirling to coat.

  4. Sear fillets until golden brown on one side; remove to a platter.

  5. To the hot skillet, add wine, lemon juice, honey mustard, and dill. Whisk to deglaze and cook until the sauce reduces and thickens.

  6. Whisk in the remaining 1 tablespoon butter.

  7. Return fish to the skillet, uncooked side up.

  8. Broil 6 inches from heat for 8 to 10 minutes, depending on fish thickness.

  9. Serve immediately with pan sauce and optional lemon slices.
