Macaroni With Alfredo Sauce

Instructions

  1. Start boiling a large pot of salted water.

  2. In a large sauté pan, heat half the cream and butter over medium-low heat until bubbling, then simmer for 15 minutes until reduced.

  3. Cook macaroni in boiling water for 10-12 minutes until al dente, then drain and return to the pot.

  4. Pour the hot cream and butter mixture over the macaroni, return to low heat, and toss until coated.

  5. Add remaining cream and cheese, then toss to mix, adjusting consistency with extra cream if needed.

  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste, then serve immediately.
