Instructions

  1. Coat a 4-quart slow cooker with nonstick spray, then add chopped onions, carrots, mushrooms, and green pepper.

  2. Heat a non-stick pan with cooking spray over medium-high heat, brown the beef on all sides for 3 minutes per side, then transfer it to the slow cooker over the vegetables.

  3. Pour canned tomatoes over the meat and drizzle with Worcestershire sauce. Cover and cook on low for 7 to 9 hours.

  4. Serve the pot roast.
