Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients and 2 quarts (2 liters) of water in a pressure cooker.

  2. Bring to a simmer, then cover, bring to pressure, and cook on medium heat for 40 minutes until beans are tender.

  3. If the sauce is too thin, reduce the liquid until it thickens.

  4. Adjust seasoning as desired, then serve.
