Lima Bean Soup With Ham

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in a stockpot over medium heat, then sauté chopped onion and carrots for 5-7 minutes until soft.

  2. Stir in garlic, lemon juice, and herb seasoning; cook for 2 more minutes.

  3. Add ham, frozen lima beans, parsley, marjoram, and water or stock to the pot.

  4. Bring the soup to a boil, then reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste, then serve hot.
