Light and Easy Chicken With Broccoli and Angel Hair Pasta

Start boiling salted water for pasta according to package directions.

Heat 2 tsp olive oil and 1 tsp butter in a skillet over medium heat, then cook chicken for 5-7 minutes until done; remove chicken.

Add 1 tsp olive oil and 1 tsp butter to the skillet; cook sliced carrots for 5 minutes, then add broccoli and garlic, cooking for 2 more minutes.

Stir in chicken broth, basil, optional sliced tomatoes, and Parmesan cheese; simmer for 3-4 minutes.

Drain the cooked pasta, arrange it in a serving dish, and top with the chicken and vegetable mixture.
