Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 F and prepare 24 muffin tins.

  2. In one large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

  3. In a separate large bowl, whisk eggs, buttermilk, sour cream, melted butter, lemon extract, and lemon zest.

  4. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just moistened, then gently fold in blueberries.

  5. Divide the batter among the prepared muffin cups.

  6. In a small bowl, combine brown sugar, pecans, and cinnamon for the topping.

  7. Sprinkle the crumb mixture over the muffin batter and bake for 20 to 25 minutes.
