Instructions

Bring water and lavender to a boil in a saucepan.

Reduce heat, stir in sugar until dissolved, then simmer for 15 minutes.

Remove from heat, cool, and steep for at least one hour; strain out lavender.

Pour the syrup into a bottle and refrigerate.
