Lavender Honey Ice Cream

Instructions

  1. Combine heavy cream, milk, honey, and culinary lavender in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring until the mixture steams and honey dissolves.

  2. Remove from heat, let rest at room temperature for 15 minutes, then strain out the lavender solids through a fine-mesh sieve.

  3. Chill the liquid mixture for 1 hour, then freeze it in an ice cream maker following the manufacturer's directions.

  4. Serve the ice cream in bowls or cones.
