Instructions

  1. Soak rice for at least 90 minutes; drain thoroughly.

  2. In a large pot, heat sesame oil over medium heat, then sauté onion, carrot, and radish for 2 to 3 minutes.

  3. Add the drained rice and stir-fry for an additional minute.

  4. Pour in the soup stock and bring to a boil.

  5. Reduce heat to medium-low, simmer for 30 minutes.

  6. Stir and continue cooking for 10 more minutes, then season with salt and pepper to taste.

  7. Serve immediately.
