Instructions

  1. Sprinkle yellow croakers with a mixture of soju, garlic, salt, and pepper; marinate for 15 minutes.

  2. Combine flour, rice powder, and cornstarch in a bowl.

  3. Coat both sides of the marinated fish evenly with the flour mixture.

  4. Heat at least 1/8-inch of cooking oil in a pan over medium-high heat.

  5. Pan-fry fish 3 to 5 minutes per side until nicely browned, adding more oil if needed.

  6. Remove fish from the pan and drain on paper towels.
