Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground beef or pork, onion, cabbage, tofu, and noodles. In a separate small bowl, mix garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper, then pour it over the meat mixture and combine thoroughly by hand.

  2. Place one tablespoon of filling on a dumpling wrapper, moisten half the perimeter, then fold and crimp to seal; repeat for all filling.

  3. Prepare the dumplings by steaming, boiling, frying, or sautéing.

  4. Serve the cooked dumplings with a basic or spicy dipping sauce.
