Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 F and prepare a baking sheet.

  2. Beat butter and cream cheese until fluffy, then mix in flour to form a dough.

  3. Shape dough into a disk, wrap, and refrigerate for 20-30 minutes.

  4. Roll dough to 1/8-inch thickness on a floured surface and cut into 2 to 2 1/2-inch squares; place on the baking sheet.

  5. Spoon 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon of jam onto the center of each square.

  6. Fold two opposite corners of each square towards the center, overlapping slightly, and press firmly to seal.

  7. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, then transfer to wire racks to cool and sift with confectioners' sugar.
