Key Lime Pie

A simple Key lime pie recipe, perfect for using a store-bought or homemade graham cracker crust and garnishing with whipped cream.

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 F with a rack in the center.

  2. In a medium bowl, combine egg yolks and sweetened condensed milk.

  3. Beat the mixture with a mixer on high speed for about 5 minutes until light and fluffy.

  4. Gradually beat in the lime juice and lime zest.

  5. Pour the filling into the graham cracker crust.

  6. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes until set with a slight jiggle.

  7. Cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours.

  8. Serve plain or decorate with whipped cream.
