Keto BBQ Sauce

Instructions

Heat olive oil in a small saucepan over medium heat; sauté shallots and salt for 4 minutes until softened.

Stir in minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute over medium-low heat.

Add water, tomato paste, apple cider vinegar, erythritol, chili powder, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, cumin, mustard, and liquid smoke to the saucepan.

Whisk to combine, then reduce heat to low and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring often, until the sauce thickens and darkens.

Cool slightly, then blend for a smooth consistency if desired, and adjust salt to taste.
