Instructions

  1. Preheat the broiler.

  2. In a saucepan, melt butter, then stir in flour until smooth and bubbly.

  3. Add milk, salt, Worcestershire sauce, cheddar cheese, and 1/4 cup Parmesan; cook, stirring constantly, until thick and bubbly.

  4. Cut toast diagonally and place on a baking sheet.

  5. Arrange turkey slices on the toast, then cover with the hot cheese sauce.

  6. Top with tomato slices and evenly sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup Parmesan over the sandwiches.

  7. Broil until hot, bubbly, and lightly browned.
