Kalinti - Moroccan Chickpea Flour and Egg Tart

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 F (190 C) and generously oil a 10- or 11-inch shallow baking dish.

  2. Combine dry ingredients, then gradually whisk in water, milk, eggs, and oil to create a smooth batter.

  3. Rest the batter while the oven heats, then whisk lightly and pour into the prepared pan.

  4. Bake for at least 45 minutes until set and well-colored; optionally broil briefly to darken the top.

  5. Serve warm with cumin, salt, and harissa on the side.
