Instructions

  1. In a large salad bowl, combine shallot, vinegar, and honey; whisk in oil, salt, and pepper.

  2. Remove kale leaves from stems, then slice them into 1/4-inch ribbons.

  3. Add kale to the bowl and massage into the dressing for 1 to 10 minutes, until softened and dark green.
