Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 F.

  2. Remove kale stems, chop, drizzle with 1 tablespoon lemon juice, and massage to soften.

  3. Toss bread cubes with olive oil, garlic powder, and salt on a baking sheet.

  4. Bake for 12 minutes, shaking halfway, until golden brown.

  5. Combine mayonnaise, parmesan, garlic, dijon, anchovy, remaining lemon juice, Worcestershire, and pepper in a food processor; blend until smooth, then slowly drizzle in olive oil while blending.

  6. Add dressing to kale and pound with a wooden spoon for about a minute to tenderize and absorb flavors.

  7. Chop baked bread cubes into large breadcrumbs.

  8. Toss the dressed kale with shaved parmesan and chopped croutons; serve immediately.
