Jicama Fries

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425 F.

  2. Peel jicama and cut into fry-shaped pieces.

  3. Spread jicama on a baking sheet in a single layer, then drizzle with olive oil and toss. Use additional sheets if needed to avoid crowding.

  4. In a bowl, mix chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, kosher salt, and ground cumin. Sprinkle over jicama and toss to coat.

  5. Roast for 15 minutes, then flip and continue roasting for 10-15 minutes until crispy and lightly browned.

  6. Before serving, squeeze with fresh lime juice, sprinkle with cilantro, and season with additional salt and pepper.
