Jellied Cranberry Sauce

Combine cranberries, sugar, and water in a saucepan, then bring to a boil over medium heat.

Strain the sauce through a mesh sieve into a bowl.

Cool the sauce, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours until chilled and set; unmold and slice for serving.
