Jalapeño-Garlic Marinade

A spicy marinade featuring jalapeños and garlic enhances the flavor of various meats and vegetables.

Instructions

  1. Wearing gloves, halve, seed, and quarter the jalapeños.

  2. Combine jalapeños and peeled garlic with 2 tablespoons of water in a blender; process to a pulp.

  3. Add remaining water and all other marinade ingredients, then blend until combined.

  4. Cover the blender and let the marinade rest for 5 minutes, then uncover and let rest for 2 to 3 minutes more.

  5. Use the marinade on meat, fish, or vegetables.
