Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan and mix thoroughly.

  2. Simmer over medium-low heat for 20 minutes, stirring often, until the sauce visibly thickens; adjust heat as necessary.

  3. Remove from heat and allow the sauce to cool completely for 15 to 20 minutes.

  4. Apply immediately to grilled or smoked ribs, or store refrigerated in an airtight container for up to seven days, warming before use.
