Italian Sausage Lasagna
A classic Italian sausage lasagna features rich layers of ricotta, Parmesan, mozzarella, and a savory meat sauce.

Preheat oven to 375 F.

Brown sausage in a skillet, drain fat, then add garlic, tomatoes, basil, oregano, 1.5 tsp salt, and tomato paste; simmer for 30 minutes.

Bring salted water to a boil and cook lasagna noodles per package directions.

Combine ricotta, Parmesan, parsley, eggs, 1 tsp salt, and pepper in a bowl.

Assemble lasagna in a 9x13-inch baking pan: layer noodles, mozzarella, half of the ricotta mixture, then half of the meat sauce; repeat layers and finish with mozzarella.

Bake for 30-40 minutes.

Let lasagna rest for a few minutes before serving.
