Italian Meatloaf With Parmesan Cheese Recipe

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 F.

  2. Combine 1/2 teaspoon each dried basil, oregano, marjoram, and a dash of dried sage to create Italian seasoning.

  3. In a bowl, mix ground meats, half of the tomato sauce, bread crumbs, 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, eggs, garlic, onion, salt, black pepper, and the Italian seasoning until blended.

  4. Pack the mixture into a lightly oiled loaf pan.

  5. Bake for 1 hour and 10 minutes.

  6. Drain accumulated fat, then spread the remaining tomato sauce over the loaf and sprinkle with a few tablespoons of grated Parmesan cheese.

  7. Continue baking for an additional 10 to 15 minutes.

  8. Turn out of the pan, slice, and serve.
