Instructions

  1. Set the Instant Pot to sauté and melt butter.

  2. Add onions, celery, garlic, thyme, salt, and pepper; cook 6-8 minutes until soft and translucent, stirring often.

  3. Stir in broth, beer, and English mustard; whisk well.

  4. Stir in ham, peas, and carrots. Secure lid, set pressure valve to sealing, and cook on manual high pressure for 15 minutes.

  5. Allow natural pressure release. Stir, then let stand 10 minutes before serving.
