Instructions

  1. Lightly oil the Instant Pot interior to prevent sticking.

  2. Rinse quinoa under running water until clear.

  3. Combine rinsed quinoa, water, and salt in the Instant Pot.

  4. Secure the lid, ensure the steam release knob is sealed, and set to high pressure for 1-3 minutes depending on quinoa type (white: 1 min, tricolor/red: 2 min, black: 3 min).

  5. Allow natural pressure release for 10 minutes, then manually release remaining pressure.

  6. Fluff the cooked quinoa with a fork.

  7. Season to taste.
