Instant Pot Honey Garlic Chicken Recipe

Instructions

  1. Whisk together garlic, soy sauce, honey, ketchup, rice vinegar, sesame oil, mushroom powder, and onion powder in a bowl to make the sauce.

  2. Turn on the Instant Pot's sauté setting; add canola oil, then brown chicken thighs for 2 minutes per side.

  3. Deglaze the pot with 3 tablespoons of water, scraping any stuck bits.

  4. Add the honey garlic sauce, turn off sauté, and lock the lid.

  5. Set to pressure cook for 10 minutes, then allow a 5-minute natural pressure release before manually releasing the rest.

  6. Transfer chicken to a plate, spoon sauce over it, and garnish with sesame seeds and green onions.
