Indian Milk Barfi Dessert (Microwave Made)

Instructions

  1. In a microwave-safe baking pan, whisk milk powder, heavy cream, and sweetened condensed milk until smooth; reserve pistachios for garnish.

  2. Microwave on high for 6 minutes; if the mixture threatens to boil over, stop for 8-10 seconds, then resume cooking.

  3. Remove the pan from the microwave and stir well to break up any lumps.

  4. Return the pan to the microwave and cook on high for another 6 minutes, watching closely during the first minute.

  5. Sprinkle chopped pistachios over the barfi and let it sit in the microwave for 10 minutes.

  6. Remove the barfi, cut into 2- to 2 1/2-inch squares, and serve.
