Indian Masala Kheema (Dry Spicy Minced Meat)

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a wok or deep pan over medium heat.

  2. Fry cumin seeds for 1 minute until they stop spluttering.

  3. Sauté onions for about 5 minutes until pale golden.

  4. Add garlic and ginger pastes, then fry for 1 minute.

  5. Stir in coriander, cumin, garam masala, and salt, then sauté until oil separates from the masala.

  6. Incorporate meat and sauté for 5 to 7 minutes until browned.

  7. Add tomatoes and cook until soft.

  8. Turn off heat, stir in lime or lemon juice.

  9. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot.
