Ice Cream Cone Cupcakes Recipe

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 F.

Position ice cream cones upright in a muffin tin, using crumpled foil to stabilize them.

Cream butter and sugar in a large bowl.

Beat in eggs one at a time, then add vanilla extract and mix.

Combine flour, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl.

Alternate adding dry ingredients and milk to the butter mixture, beginning and ending with dry ingredients.

Gently fold in 3 tablespoons of multicolored sprinkles.

Fill cones 2/3 full with batter.

Bake for 20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Cool completely before frosting.

To make frosting, beat butter, cream cheese, vanilla extract, and salt until fluffy.

Gradually incorporate confectioners' sugar.

Divide frosting; mix cocoa powder into one half.

Place white and chocolate frostings into separate piping bags and snip the ends.

Insert both bags into a larger piping bag with a decorative tip.

Pipe the swirl frosting onto each cooled cupcake.
