Hummus With Tahini

Instructions

  1. Drain chickpeas, reserving some liquid.

  2. In a blender, combine the drained chickpeas, lemon juice, sesame paste, garlic, and salt, then add 1/4 cup of the reserved chickpea liquid.

  3. Blend for 3 to 5 minutes until smooth.

  4. Transfer the hummus to a serving bowl, create a shallow well, and drizzle with 1 to 2 tablespoons of olive oil.

  5. Garnish with parsley if desired and serve with pita.
